Michael J. Platt was a young boy when he began in the Green Industry. With a passion for beautiful landscapes, mechanical skill, endurance, education and a childhood entrepreneurial desire, he grew and developed a landscape company. With several mentors along the way, he found he had a niche for trees. It was this niche that led him to pursue Arboriculture. Michael has had the pleasure of working in trees from Vermont to Virginia, noting that most of his work experience comes from the "Giants of the East," trees in the Main Line area of Pennsylvania. Many of his clients had Summer Homes in Sussex County, DE, which led him to eventually settle into peaceful Roxana, DE where the company's Delaware branch is located. 2024 marks Michael's 32nd year in the green industry and 22nd year in Arboriculture.

We do this using and promoting ONLY approved practices in the tree care industry, following both American National Standards Institute's Standards for Arboriculture as well as the International Society of Arboriculture's Best Management Practices. In order for us to focus on objectives for your trees, shrubs or landscape in general, we need to understand their current conditions, their history, and what to do to maintain a vigorous future of longevity.
